Hi, I'm Alex

Alex has a degree from Marshall School of Business at USC and a master's degree from Naval Postgraduate School. During her Naval career, Alex worked in various leadership roles and taught many topics in human resources. She also married her husband and raised their two daughters.

 

Since retiring from the Navy, she has offered a variety of public and professional workshops on leadership, anger management, conflict resolution, job search tactics and effective communication skills. She taught at both Grossmont Adult School and in the San Diego County prison system.

She is currently renewing her interest in art. She paints in watercolor, makes patterns for surface design, dabbles with her Cricut Joy, remakes and sews clothes.

 

 Her other time is split between her husband of over 37 years, coaching clients, conducting online and in-person courses and creating a YouTube channel, Ambicurious. On this channel her intent is to show the future belongs to multi-passionate leaders who weave together creativity, strategy, and empathy. By embracing both structure and curiosity -  and by honoring natural rhythms like the night owl chronotype - the channel helps people design fulfilling lives where all of their interests, talents, and leadership potential can flourish.
